You will depart from Hanoi in the evening by night train to Lao Cai near the Chinese border.

Sapa touris definitely the spotlight of any Vietnam tour package and upon your arrival at Lao Cai train station, your private tour guide and driver will meet you with the welcome sign. This early morning, we have arranged a mini hotel for you to have shower and breakfast then take the walking tour to explore Sapa town before driving to to Lao Chai village of the H'Mong minority and start to walk down the amazing Muong Hoa valley to experience their life and take wonderful photos. During the trip, you can visit some of the local family on the way, learn how to plant rice, how to make rice wine, how to make cloth, how is their wedding or funeral tradition.... Continue to Ta Van village where we spend overnight in the homestay of a local family. The rest of the day is free at leisure. You can follow the buffalo trails to walk up the mountains, help your tour guide cook delicious dinner, or enjoy drinking a cup of coffee/tea and watching teh sunset. Dinner time is a lot of fun with great food and do not forget to try some rice wine. Overnight at homestay.

After breakfast, say goodbye to the family and continue trekking along Muong Hoa valley to Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Dao minority, spend sometimes to rest, talk to the kids then keep on to Ban Ho village of the Tay minority where you spend the second night in the homestay. Today is a long day, a bit hard so the rest of the day, let relax and again, we cook you a great dinner. Overnight in Ban Ho village.

Note: For one night at homestay, you will get picked up at Giang Ta Chai village back to Sapa. Please let us know if you want this option.

This morning, after breakfast, we trek further to visit a small hamlet of the Red Dzao minority called Nam Toong before getting back to Ban Ho for a picnic lunch then drive to Sapa where we have arranged you a mini hotel for your to take shower and rest. Free time at leisure until we pick you up and drive back to Lao Cai train station for an overnight train to Hanoi. We do hope that you have enjoyed your Vietnam tour in Sapa and wish to welcome you back.

Note: Should you want to book your transfer from Hanoi train station to your hotel in Hanoi, or to Noi Bai airport, please let us know in advance!
