A day at Vinpearl Phu Quoc Resort

The Vinpearl Phu Quoc Resort which was debuted earlier last month by Vingroup is a new destination for those who wish to have a great escape to Phu Quoc Island off Kien Giang Province.

The five-star resort complex located on Bai Dai (long beach) to the northwest of Phu Quoc Island covers an area of 300 hectares, including a 750-room hotel/villa and an entertainment area Vinpearl Land and a 27-hole golf course.

A highlight is the Vinpearl Land whose activities are suitable for people of all ages. There are a game center, a water park, an outdoor entertainment zone with lots of thrilling games, an underwater world with tens of thousands of sea creatures and especially 15 penguins imported from Australia. A fountain stage with a capacity of 3,000 audiences is where people can enjoy some exciting art performances.

From the resort, it is convenient for tourists to explore other famous sightseeing spots on the island, including Ganh Dau, Cua Can, and some beaches like Thom, Vong, Khem, and Sao and Tranh and Da Ban streams, Cau Temple, the National Park of Phu Quoc and Phu Quoc Prison.

The resort last week hosted Miss Vietnam 2014 beauty contest at its fountain stage with the performance of popular American singer Kelly Clarkson.

Tourists can take daily flights provided by local carriers like Vietnam Airlines, VietJetAir and Jetstar Pacific from HCMC to Phu Quoc island or they can take a boat trip from Rach Gia Town of Kien Giang Province to the island.
