Best places to stay in Sapa

It is low season from May to September in Vietnam and tourists do not want to come for some reasons like; too much rain, risky storms or heat of summer. However, the best time to visit Sapa is from June to September as it is cool here all year around and it is also best time to see the rice terraces.

If you have a plan to travel to Vietnam, Sapa is a must and we will suggest some places to stay:

Opt1: Hotels in Sapa - Most tourists will stay in a hotel in Sapa for at least 1 night, but Sapa tourism is booming now. Many hotels are being built, the whole town is under construction. You will need a quiet hotels with great valley view. Our recommended hotels are: Victoria Sapa hotel, Amazing Sapa hotel, Vista Sapa hotel.

Opt2: Homestay -  This is a wonderful option for those who want to experience life and authentic culture and tradition of the ethnic groups living in the area. Suggested homestay:

1 - Ta Phin Homestay - The villlage of the Red Dao minority

2 - Ta Van homestay - The village of the Day minority - it is quite touristy now, but still highly recommended as it is the most spectacular place for homestay.

3 - Giang Ta Chai homestay - The village of the Red Dao and Day minority. Choose the homestay at the picturesque cloud bridge.

4 - Seo Trung Ho Homestay - The village of the Red Dao minority. It is long and hard trek to get to this village, but it is quiet and picturesque.

5 - Ban Ho homestay - The village of the Tay minority who live on the stilt houses. Tay people are kind, friendly. The village is around 25km from Sapa.

Opt3: Topas Ecolodge - 25km from Sapa, Topas Ecolode built on top of the mountain, overlooking amazing mountains and valleys. This is one of the most scenic spots in Vietnam and the world to spend a night. Topas Ecolodge is highly recommended for honeymooners and couples. Staying here, tourists can spend time exploring nearby ethnic villages or just relax by the pool (good in Summer, too cold in winter).
