The city owes its charm partially to the perfume river and the unadulterated natural surroundings.Hue has an undeniable historical vibe with old buildings and sensitive stories, depicting the cultural heritage. Because of this very reason Vietnam tour operators include Hue as an important destination in the Vietnam private tour package.

Hue Tour packages
Be it Hue or any other city in Vietnam; it is always better to choose Vietnam private tour by any reputed travel company. Be warned with some English speaking guides who are pretty thin about the things they say. You can get some useful guides on the streets, but it's a rule of thumb to choose tour packages booked through a reputable company rather than a freelance guide. Even if you have a professional guide with you, it is up to you to let them know what type of spots you need to visit.

Most of the guides will take you to the spots convenient to them if you don't speak up. That is why it is essential to choose tour package tailored to meet your unique requirements. Be warned though as people who wish to see sights themselves than going on an organized trip by choosing tour operator may find things a bit frustrating.

Visa formalities
The process of getting a Vietnam visa is same as obtaining a visa to any other country. Most travelers get their visa through any consulate office in their country or Vietnam embassy. Another popular method is getting a visa on arrival via online. Vietnam visa onlineis the preferred method for travelers who travel by air, and it is the cheaper and faster method.

It can be done online through any private tour operators who have an agreement with the embassy or government to collect passport details. Once you fill the form and pay for the visa on arrival, you will receive an approval notification. The approval letter is sufficient enough to board a flight to Vietnam and upon entry at the country; you will obtain the stamped visa. Most of the agencies charge a small fee for their service, and you need to pay $25 as stamping fee at the airport.
