New fees in Halong
Halong bay is the natural world heritage in Vietnam and famous with nearly 2000 islets, 59 caves, many pristine beaches. It is said that no Vietnam tour would be complete without a trip to Halong bay.

The new sightseeing fees will be applied in Halong bay from 1 April 2017. The fees are about double compared to the old fees. So the Halong bay tour prices will be a bit higher than before, but should not be a problem. Halong offers much more than any money spent. 

Kayaking tour in Halong ended
The authority of Quang Ninh province has just decided to end Kayaking tour in Halong for some reasons. Firstly, kayaking offered by cruise companies with different prices and tourists can be overcharged. Secondly, kayaking activity reduces the crew members on board, which can be risky in case of emergency. However, cruise companies and Vietnam tour operators do not agree and try to do something. But, while waiting, no kayaking tour is allowed.

Caves in Halong bay
There are 59 caves found in Halong bay and Bai Tu Long bay. 19 of them are open for visits. 23 of them have not been named yet. In the coming time, Halong bay management board will have to find names for the newly found caves and have plan to open for visits.
