Ban of Kayak tours in Ha Long Bay
The authority of Quang Ninh province (Management of Halong bay) announced ban on kayaking tours in Halong bay few days ago for some reasons which considered "ridiculous" and Both Vietnam travel agents and travelers are protesting. In fact, Kayaking tours in Halong bay is the highlight of all Halong cruise itineraries. Only with Kayak can tourists explore the hidden caves, lagoons that the big ship can not. Kayaking is fun!

Not knowing this ban will be removed or not, but The authority of Quang Ninh province should work closely with cruise companies, Vietnam travel agents, and listen to the wishes of tourists before taking any step.

Vietjet Air launched flights to Siem Reap
Vietjet Air - The budget airline of Vietnam launched daily flight to Siem Reap from yesterday. This is a really great news for tourists who want to combine Vietnam and Cambodia in a tour package to Southeast Asia. Vietjet Air is offering US$18 per way, which is a huge different if compared to Vietnam airlines. 

Siem Reap is gateway to Angkor temples - the largest religious complex in the world. It is wonder of wonders. Vietnam is beautiful, but if you have few more days to explore Angkor, it is the time now. Budget flight with Vietjet Air is not ideal option if you want to save travel expense.
