It features visits to the most popular cities in Vietnam, stop overs at the most beautiful sceneries, and the opportunity to sample local cuisine from time to time, without leaving out the fun that comes with boarding an overnight train.

This tour package has you covered and it has one supreme goal – to help you enjoy the best of Vietnam.

Day 1: Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City
Like a flash, immediately you step down from the aircraft in Ho Chi Minh, you would be met by one of our experts at VivuTravel who would not only be your tour advisor but also your guide. He/she will make arrangement for the driver assigned to you to take you to your hotel.

If you arrive early in the day or a day before your tour is scheduled to start and it appears that you would have a few hours to spare to look around, you can reach us at VivuTravel to see how best we can help you maximise your time. You may choose to tour your immediate environment, for a small additional fee.

Day 2: Check out the Mekong Delta
In the early hours of the second day, you will be led from your hotel and driven to the Ben Tre province. This place is also called the land of Coconut, in the Mekong Delta.

In Ben Tre, not only would you be able to explore coconut workshops, you could also spend time learning the art of mat weaving in local houses. On the other hand, if you would like a precious rest time, you can just relax in the village or feed your eyes with the activities of the locals.

After the lunch of Xu Loi - a kind of motorised rickshaw, you may relax at the local restaurant or take a bike ride around the lovely countryside, particularly to visit the local Ben Tre market before returning to Ho Chi Minh City. We will cover your breakfast and lunch expenses.

Day 3: See Da Nang and move to Hoi An
From noon, you would be transferred to the airport to board a flight to Da Nang. At your latest destination, you will meet another guide and driver, right at the airport who would take you to your hotel in Hoi An.

Hoi An is not far from Da Nang, it takes only about 50 minutes to get there from the latter. There is a beach, river, big shopping mall, lots of bustling cafes and restaurants, many serene places, stocked pubs and bars, hundreds of tailors, among others. In this place, you may want to get your bespoke clothes, shoes and prescription lens done before leaving Central Vietnam. They have the human and material resources in abundance.

We would incur the cost of your breakfast while you are here. However, you can contact us if you require any more information or anything additional.

Day 4: Explore Hoi An.
Hoi An has so many service offerings and value propositions. You may cool out at the beach, choose to window shop or try to learn the culture and history of this ancient town. The fourth day is the midday of your tour and we intend that you catch your breath and run at your own pace. This is why we would only offer you a breakfast of the meal of your choice, so you can sample other local cuisine at your pace.s

Day 5: Fly to Hanoi.
After two days in Hoi An, you would be transferred to Da Nang airport. You would be leaving for Hanoi and the flight would take approximately an hour.
Hanoi is widely regarded as the cultural capital of Vietnam. In the evening of the said day, your tour guide would take you on a street food tour in the Old Quarter, so you can gain an insight into the traditions of Vietnamese food culture. There is no shame in eating as you go, trying fruits and sampling snacks from the roadside carts.

There’s a lot of quick dishes too you may want to try out; the Bun Cha Ta, Banh Cuon and the widely-acclaimed top street food - Vietnamese Rice Wine and the famous Egg Coffee, for example.

The barbeque stalls provide a good opportunity for you to sit and relate with the Hanoi locals and get an insight into their personal way of life. If you are in Vietnam for a documentary, this may perhaps be one of the times you are waiting for.
We are able to cater for your special dietary requirements; you only need to keep us aware so we can accommodate your needs. Not to worry, breakfast and dinner are on us.

Day 6: One more day in Hanoi and travel overnight to Sapa… in a train!
Sounds like fun. That is just what it is. Hanoi is a handful really. We would leave you to explore the city to your heart’s content on this day, but not without your tour guide being at your beck and call.
Around 6pm, you will be taken to the train station for an overnight train trip to Sapa. The departure time is 10pm local time. It is fun in itself and conducive, as far as train gets – good air conditioning and comfortable beds.

Day 7: Time to explore the charm of Sapa.
After arriving in the morning at Lao Cai station. A local guide would pick you and take you to the beautiful hill station of Sapa. This journey would take an hour. After that, you can spend the rest of the morning at your leisure.

After breakfast, you will check out of your hotel and depart towards Tram Ton Pass where you would see and enjoy the warmth of the Silver Waterfall, Heaven’s Gate, Fansipan Mountain and so on.

When you are done, you would return to the hotel where you can freshen up before transferring to Lao Cai station to board the train back to Hanoi.
The journey is coming to an end but not our commitment to ensuring you enjoy the experience. Not only would we foot your breakfast this time, we would as well take care of lunch and dinner.

Day 8: Time to go home
You would have enough time to catch your breath at Hanoi and sink in the experience you just had before your departure. Your guide would show up three hours before your flight and alongside your driver, take you the airport.

The beautiful thing about the VivuTravel 8-day tour is that it can start on literally any day of the year, and can be customised to your taste. You only need to specify the date you would like to commence your tour while booking on our website.

If you would like to know a little more about the pricing and provision for more days or more people, you may contact us for a quote.
